Architecture review · AWS Well-Architected
Know exactly where your architecture stands and what to do
We review your AWS workload with the Well-Architected Framework and hand you back a clear diagnosis of your security, cost, reliability and performance, with a prioritized plan of what to solve first. It is the best first step to know where you stand.
Why it matters
You are making decisions without a map
Most teams that grew fast are not sure about the state of their infrastructure. If any of these lines sound familiar, a review gives you answers.
- You are not sure your architecture can handle the next traffic spike.
- You suspect you are overpaying on AWS, but you do not know where or how much.
- An enterprise customer asks for security guarantees and you do not know if you meet them.
- You grew fast and the infrastructure is full of "temporary" decisions.
What we review
The six pillars, looked at concretely
It is not a generic checklist. In each pillar of the Well-Architected Framework we look at the things that really move the needle in your architecture.
Security
IAM and permissions, public exposure, encryption, secrets management, traceability and incident response.
Cost optimization
Over-provisioned resources, idle spend, right-sizing, savings plans and real visibility into where the bill goes.
Reliability
Single points of failure, backups and recovery, service limits and your ability to recover from an outage.
Performance efficiency
Choice of compute and storage, scaling, bottlenecks and use of managed services where it makes sense.
Operational excellence
Infrastructure as code, observability, deployments, runbooks and what happens when something fails at 3 a.m.
Sustainability
Resource efficiency and architecture decisions that reduce compute waste and its footprint.
How it works
A clear process, step by step
At every step you know what will happen, what we need from you and what you take away. No surprises and no commitment until you decide to move forward.
- 1
Initial assessment
You start with our online assessment: in minutes you tell us what you have today and what worries you. It is free and no strings attached.
- What you contribute
- A few minutes and context about your project.
- What you receive
- Initial technical guidance and whether a full review makes sense for you.
- 2
Review session
A working session with your technical and business teams. We walk your workload against the Well-Architected Framework pillars, with concrete questions about your real architecture.
- What you contribute
- Read access or a walkthrough of your account, and your team available.
- What you receive
- An honest read of your situation, live, without waiting weeks.
- 3
Report and prioritized plan
We deliver a report with the risks found per pillar and an action plan ordered by priority: what is urgent, what can wait and the effort each item takes.
- What you contribute
- Nothing, it is our work. We review it together.
- What you receive
- A clear report + a prioritized roadmap you can use even on your own.
- 4
Remediation (optional)
If you decide to move forward, we execute the improvements with you: security, cost or re-architecture, based on what the report prioritized. You choose what and when.
- What you contribute
- The decision on what you want to solve first.
- What you receive
- The changes implemented and your team enabled to sustain them.
What you take away
A deliverable that gets used
The review ends with something concrete in your hands: clarity about your situation and a plan you can execute, with us or with your own team.
Report per pillar
A document with the risks found in each pillar of the framework, explained in plain language, not jargon.
Prioritized action plan
What to solve first, what can wait and an effort estimate, so you know exactly what to do.
Live walkthrough
A session where we go over the findings with your team and answer all your questions, so the report gets understood and used.
Why with Eccox
Why do it with us
These are the things we care about and that define how we work: clarity, execution and closeness.
A clear process, step by step
From minute one you know what you will contribute and what you will receive at each stage, with full transparency.
From the review to the solution
We do not stop at the report: if you want, we execute the improvements with you. We are the ones who build, not just audit.
Closeness with founders
You talk to the people doing the work, in Spanish or English, with the speed of a small, specialized team. No layers of account managers or tickets.
AI specialists on AWS
We look at your architecture through the lens of what is coming: generative AI workloads, agents and data on AWS, not just the current state.
The next step
From the review to actually building
The review tells you what to do. When you are ready to do it, we continue with you along the right path.
AWS migration
If the review shows it is worth moving or rebuilding your infrastructure, we plan and run it by waves.

What people usually ask us
What is a Well-Architected architecture review?
It is an evaluation of your AWS workload against the Well-Architected Framework, the set of AWS best practices organized into six pillars: security, cost, reliability, performance, operational excellence and sustainability. The result is a clear diagnosis of where you stand and a prioritized plan of what to improve.
How long does it take and how do I start?
You start with our free online assessment, which takes minutes. The review session with your team usually wraps up in a few hours, and the report with the prioritized plan reaches you in days, not weeks.
Do I need to give you full access to my AWS account?
No. We work with read-only access or a guided walkthrough of your account. You control the scope and level of access at all times.
Am I obligated to hire the remediation afterward?
No. The report and prioritized plan are yours and you can execute them with your own team. If you want, we move forward with remediation together, but it is your decision, step by step.
Why do the review with Eccox?
Because the process is transparent end to end, because we do not just audit but then build the improvements with you, and because of the closeness and speed of a small team specialized in AI on AWS. You talk to the people doing the work, in Spanish or English.
Start by knowing where you stand
The online assessment is free and takes minutes. It is the first step of the review and the best entry point to work with us.
